    William E. Mutton, age 75, of Arcadia, died Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at his home.  
    He was born on May 1, 1949, to William James Mutton and Eleanor Isabelle Tooley,  in Los Angeles, California.
    William served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Panama, Vietnam, North Carolina and Kentucky.  
    He met and married his best friend and wife, Judy M. Christensen, on January 17, 1970, in Long Beach, California.  Their marriage was later solemnized on November 2008 in the Vernal Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    William was an active member of his church. He served in many Priesthood quorums as the secretary and a teacher.  He also served in the Family History Library and as the building cleaning representative for his ward.  He was also called to serve in the Primary Nursery and the Primary Activity Days for the boys.  He loed working with the little ones.  
    He enjoyed counted cross-stitch, and won many awards for his stitching. He also enjoyed painting, photography, reading, writing poetry, working with his hands, sewing quilt tops and learning new things. He participated in Cowboy Action Shooting.
    He retired from the Duchesne County Building and Grounds Departments after 10 years of service.
    William is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Timothy (Tanya) Mutton, Skegness, England; Gerrad (Grace) Mutton, Bonaire, Georgia; grandchildren, Ashlin (Taylor) Wyatt, Amber (John) Love-Gaunt, Nathan Mutton, Colin Marlown, Jasmine & Jessica Mutton; great-grandson, Desmond Wyatt; siblings, Jonathan & David Benzing, Stephanie Wall; and many nieces and nephews.  
    He was preceded in death by his parents,  and  a brother, Timothy Mutton.  
    Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 11:00 AM at the Bridgeland Cemetery.  A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at the Hullinger
    “Death is but the beginning to life.”  William believed there was more after this mortal life.
