Tracy Jay Williams, age 71, passed peacefully at his home in Bluebell, Utah on June 5, 2024. Tracy was born August 19, 1952, to William “Bill” and Carlene Slater Williams in Duchesne Utah. His childhood roots fostered a love of agriculture from their family’s ranch which was nestled in Tabiona, Utah.
He married Cynthia Cox and they shared four children; Bethany, Tracy Flint, Shiloh, and Larami. Later he married Jeramie Tubbs and they raised five children; Talon, Rory, Colten, Taylor, and Seth. On May 2, 2015, Tracy married his love and sweetheart Lori Cox, extending his family further with her two children, Amber and Levi.
While being an influential and supportive participant of the Bluebell, and surrounding communities, he preferred to offer his generous contributions privately.
He was active with livestock and a true cowboy at heart. Tracy enjoyed raising cattle, however, Paso Fino horses were the cornerstone of his agricultural ventures.
Granite Furniture introduced Tracy to the transportation industry and from there, his strong work ethic and attention to detail naturally erected his entrepreneurial path. He successfully operated his business, Lightning T Trucking, for 20 years with Foreland Transportation. In addition to managing and contributing to multiple companies for over 50 years, Tracy was always a phone call away for his valued expertise.
He found humor to balance the high demands of work and was not shy from planning or accepting masterfully executed practical jokes. Because Tracy was a humorist, we regularly heard his memorable laugh that we were all fond of.
Tracy is survived by his loving spouse, Lori Williams; children, Bethany (Kerry) Bitner, Shiloh (Terri) Williams, Tracy Flint (Dela) Williams, Larami (Devan) Williams, Talon (Kevin) Bowler, Rory (Samantha) Williams, Colten (Ashlie) Williams, Taylor (Jason) Raths, Seth (Tasha) Williams; Lori’s children, Amber (Chris) Storrusten, and Levi Hubbard. In addition, 23 grandchildren, Meghan, Kyle, Alexis, Rachael, Isaac, Tracy Traiden, Jaylee, Charlie, Makalya, Tristen, Gatling, Peter, Sam, Max, Stetsyn, Sierra, McQuade, Dakota, Haydon, Kailee, Heston, Clara, Emery, with a granddaughter due in August. Along with 4 great grandchildren, Boston, Dustin, Delilah, Kaycen. Lastly, 4 siblings, Sherie (Russ) Carter, Richard (Susan) Williams, Lori (Doug) Bennett, Jodi (Elwin) Sagers and many nieces and nephews.
