Timothy Sirewop, age 66, of Sunshine Acres Subdivision, Ft. Duchesne, passed away November 19, 2023, at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.
He was born June 11, 1957, in Roosevelt, to Pedro Wilson Serawop and Georgina Nephi. He served in the United States Army from 1975 - 1977.
Tim worked as the manager of Ute Tribe Water Hauling Enterprise. He was an avid sportsman, whether it was hunting, football or wrestling he loved it all. He was a championship bowler, known as the “Golden Arm,” and was president of the “U & O Golf Club.”
Tim had a great sense of humor and really enjoyed teasing and joking with everyone. He was very strong, truthful, and would help anyone – he will be deeply missed.
Tim is survived by his children, Antonia (Ronald) Pena, Oregon; Georgina Sirewop, Ft. Duchesne; Dayna Barcindabar, Salt Lake City; step-children, Jesse Willie (Lisa Wyasket), Ft. Duchesne; Willie Knight (Jade Blackhair), Foothill; Emilio Mascerenas, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Parley (Winnifred) Serawop; Pasecho “PJ” Serawop; Miriam Serawop; Maureen Serawop (Greg Ignacio); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Appawoo; parents; siblings, Connie, Bennie, Lindon, & Benedict Serawop; and granddaughter, Titia Center.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ouray-Tabbee Cemetery with Military Honors presented by the VFW and the Utah Honor Guard. He will be taken home for a two day wake on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
