Terry Lee McKenna, age 71, of Myton, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at his home.
Terry was born May 21, 1944, in Roosevelt, to Clifford Jacob and Thelma Irene Richens McKenna. He married Sue Ann Christensen.
He loved being in the outdoors and in the mountains, his favorite things to do were hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his grand kids. He cherished the beauty of the mountains and enjoyed looking for any and every animal or fish. He was an avid gun lover and spent a lot of time buying or talking about guns. He served for the military in the Vietnam War and was honored to serve his country.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Ann McKenna, Myton; children, Henry (Christy) McKenna, Roosevelt; Clinton McKenna, Myton; Victor McKenna, Myton; Trenton (Analisa) McKenna,Upalco; brother, DeNile (Fay) McKenna, North Myton Bench; brother-in-law, Ray Bertrand, Midland Texas; nine grand kids, numerous nieces, nephews and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Thelma McKenna, parents-in-law, Paul and Leah Christensen, sister, Maurine Bertrand and granddaughter, Alexis McKenna.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Myton LDS Chapel. Viewings will be on Friday evening at the Hullinger Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial in the Talmage Cemetery with military honors presented by the American Legion and Utah National Guard.
