Our wonderful mother and grandmother, Terry Lee Luke, age 72, of Glendale, Arizona, formerly of Roosevelt, Utah, passed away January 22, 2025.

 She was born January 19, 1953, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Bob and Beulah Talbot Baird. She married Jeffrey B Luke on August 29, 1974, in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

 She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She taught 5th and 6th grades in Idaho and in Roosevelt, Utah, where she had received Teacher of the Year. In her spare time, she liked to cook and sew, but mostly loved being with the grandchildren. She enjoyed riding her 4-wheeler and side-by-side on many adventures. 

 She was active in the Church, serving as Relief Society President three times, Young Women’s President two times, and Primary President once. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

 Terry is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jeff, of Phoenix; children, Tracy (Lane) Serr, Burley, Idaho; Ryan (Christie) Luke, Boise, Idaho; Brandon Luke, Phoenix, Arizona; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Jim Baird, Shelley, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews. 

 She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Luke; her parents; and a brother, Michael Baird.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt West Stake Center.  There will be a viewing that morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church.

Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
