Shirleta Tabbee La Framboise, age 70, of Randlett, passed away December 9, 2019, at the Provo Specialty Hospital.
She was born October 13, 1949, in Ouray, to William and Byrdie Queacut Tabbee.
Shirleta worked in the admissions of the Uintah Basin Medical Center and as a clerk for the Ute Indian Tribe. She enjoyed traveling and going on adventures – she was always on the move! She had a great love of children - whether they were her own or someone else’s she was willing to take care of them. She was a very friendly, caring, considerate, selfless, and thoughtful person who was a humanitarian. She had volunteered as a Candy Striper at the Hospital as well as serving others on her own time.
Shirleta is survived by her daughter, Tahrah (Dallas) Perank, Myton; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gertrude Tahguv, Indian Bench; Geneva Ankerpont, Ft. Duchesne; Clarice Ignacio, Randlett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael & Joseph; siblings, Nathaniel Tabbee, Henderson Tabbee, Lupe Duncan. and Florence Mills
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Helen’s Catholic Church. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and on Wednesday from 9-9:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Ouray-Tabbee Cemetery.
