Sheldon Nephi

Sheldon Whiteriver Nephi, age 3, of LaPoint, passed away August 3, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born April 20, 2013, in Roosevelt, to Lehi Nephi and Natalia Joseph.

Sheldon was a kid who liked to go fishing and hunting with his family, play on his iPad, and be with his friends. He loved anything about dinosaurs, and was a big fan of Mickey Mouse and Peppa Pig. He was kind hearted, loving, and smart for a three year old. He was looked up to by his younger brother, and he was his "grandma's kid."

Sheldon is survived by his parents, Lehi & Natalia; brother, Newton, a sister, Izzadora, all of LaPoint; grandparents, Torrie Nephi, LaPoint; Henry Howell, Ft. Duchesne, great-grandmother, Percelina Howell, Ft. Duchesne; aunts and uncles, Jackie Lee, Carver Redcap, Shermaine (Ryan Redfoot) Blackhair, Ciana & Anthony Appawoo, Carla & Adrian Kowchee, Newman Nephi, Roseana & Jubal Myore; Orie Nephi; J.D. Poowegup, Jordan, Randon, & Fananda Nez, Drienna Cook, Eshelle Crooke, Dawee & Princess Howell, cousins, Araiah, Alex & Alyn Redcap, Anilora, Rylei, Cedar & Aspen Redfoot, Treston Blackhair, Caisen, Antheeona, Anthyn, Appawoo, Adrianna & Ledrien Kowchee, Keara & Thales Walker; Winterhawk, Leaphalena, Whitllen, Omeira & Moses Serawop; and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patty Joseph, great-auntie, Julie Howell and uncle Melvin Redcap, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery. He will be taken to his parents home in LaPoint on Friday at 4:00 and will be there until the graveside service on Monday.
