Shayla Latrice Manning

    Shayla Latrice Manning, age 29, passed away October 18, 2017 in Denver, Colorado.
    She was born February 7, 1988 in Roosevelt to Emery Orrin Manning and June Marie Gardner.  
    Shay was an avid Denver Broncos fan, and enjoyed attending Pow Wows, listening to music, drawing, being in the outdoors, and riding around in cars.  She like to take videos and post them to Facebook.  She was a loving mother who adored her children.
    Shay is survived by her parents, Emery Manning, June Gardner; children, Geronika Hoffman, Antwon Hoffman, Destiny Gonzales, Dezariah Hurley, Chris Hurley, Jr., Janessa Hurley; siblings, Jared Manning, Terix Manning, Andrew Herrald, Rotisha Herrald, Shaleen Herrald, Shareen Herrald; grandparents, Connie Manning, Gilbert (Marianne) Gardner, great aunt, Donna Mae Hamman, Carmelita Jack, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends from Utah and Colorado.
    She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cheryl Redcap, Clifton Manning, Isabelle Chapoose; aunts, April & Michelle Gardner, Nelanna Manning; and uncles, Melvin & Robert Redcap, Jr., Matthew Micgill, Victor Large, and Lester Chapoose, Jr.
    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Whiterocks Community Building.  A wake will be held on Tuesday after 4:00 p.m. at the Community Building.
    Burial in the John Harmes Cemetery in Whiterocks.
