Royce W Curry, age 69, of Independence, passed away May 21, 2024, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born December 5, 1954, in Roosevelt, to Richard Henry Curry, Sr., and Rafella Verna Smith. He married Margaret Chapoose on May 18, 1981, in Elko, Nevada.
Royce worked for many years at Jack’s Insulation, Gary’s Insulation, and over 20 years at the Ute Indian Tribe Headstart as their maintenance man. He was an avid outdoorsman and really enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the mountains. He was a hard worker, a man of all trades.
