Roger Richens

Roger Arlo Richens, age 62, of Ballard, passed away June 3, 2016, at his home.
He was born February 8, 1954, in Duchesne, to Arlo R and Iola Moon Richens.
Roger grew up in Salt Lake City and attended South High School where he played hockey. He was an extremely hard worker and practically lived his life on a trackhoe. He worked construction in the oil field and other commercial projects. He enjoyed hunting, going on rides on his Harley Davidson, and working on the ranch in Arcadia. He loved his kids and grandkids his way, and was an important part of their lives. He always had a smile on his face.
Roger is survived by his children, Karla Richens, Salt Lake City; Brandy Richens, Mandy Warr, Duchesne; Nicole (Beau) Hacking, Heber City; Chanel (Jarvis) Wall, Neola; Ashley Fyke (Mason Daniels), Neola; Lindsey (Jared) Braithwaite, Ballard; Brian Fyke, Roosevelt; grandchildren, Aaron Melton, Corey Smith, and 15 others. He was also survived by his brothers and sisters, David (RaSchelle) Richens, Gusher; Shane (Sherri) Richens, Idaho; Shiranna Edrington, Myton; Sharlette Farnsworth, Idaho; Marla (Michael) Allred, Roosevelt; Marlyn Richens, Roosevelt; Trent Richens, Roosevelt; Kendera Clements, Roosevelt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Iola & Arlo; sister, Sandra Harsin; and a son, Cole D. Horrocks.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hullinger Mortuary. There will be a visitation that morning from 10-10:45 a.m.
