Robinette Tapoof, age 33, of Roosevelt, passed away April 21, 2019, unexpectedly at her home.
She was born May 5, 1985, in Roosevelt, to Mercedes LaRae Tapoof. She had studied welding at the Weber Basin Job Corps.
Robinette, who had been given the nicknames of “Yagutch,” “Cry Baby,” and “Bubbles” by her aunties, had worked at the Antlers Inn in Vernal as a house keeper. She enjoyed writing poetry, listening to music, shopping, and fashion and make-up. She loved her family and her favorite past time was spoiling her nieces and nephews.
Robinette is survived by her mother, Mercedes, of Roosevelt; a sister, Tiffany Tapoof (Nelson Colorow), Vernal; a brother, Emillio Tapoof, Roosevelt; cousins that were like siblings, Keanna Tapoof (Rahsan Jim), Vernal; Brittany Tapoof (Derek Kochamp), Ballard; Kriseta (Geoff) Kirk, Salt Lake City; Mathew Tapoof, Whiterocks; nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Hayzel, Aiden, Drayven, Max, Kordell, Zack, Adonis, Talacia; and numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Tapoof, Gwendolyn Colorow Tapoof; aunts, Shauna, Tillie, & Jerrilynn Tapoof; brother, James Ramos; and cousins Terry & James Carey.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at 9:00 am. at the Hullinger Mortuary where a viewing will be held on Wednesday from 1- 8 p.m. and after the services on Thursday. There will be no wake.
Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
