Richard "Rick" Opsahl

    Richard “Rick” Opsahl, of Neola, Utah, age 71, passed away September 16, 2023 from a battle of cancer, surrounded by his family at his home.
    He was born October 4, 1951 and raised in Austin Minnesota.  Rick enlisted in the U.S. Army and served overseas for almost two years which included Germany and the Vietnam War.
    Rick worked in the oilfield and was transferred to the Uintah Basin.  He got out of the oilfield industry and worked in various types of occupations.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and spending time with his grandkids.
    Rick is survived by his wife Jolie, their son Roy, his daughters Lisa Goodrich and Amy Mace, 6 grandchildren and his close friends Brett Woods and Rick Norton.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.
    Per his wishes there will be no services, he will be cremated and his cremated remains will be buried in the Neola Cemetery.
