Richard W Cornaby

Neola, Utah

Richard Wayne Cornaby, age 83, of Neola, passed away January 29, 2025, at his home. 

 He was born June 30, 1941, in Spanish Fork, to William and Grace Wilde Cornaby. He married Trisha Arnold on June 19, 1970, in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

 Richard attended Brigham Young University. He retired from the State of Utah Licensing Department where he licensed foster homes. His true passion was cattle ranching. They raised Polled Herefords and was awarded Grand Champion Bull at the State Fair. 

 Richard is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Trisha; daughter, Erin Wiersma; son, Mark Cornaby; and grandsons, Kalin & Brendan Wiersma; Austin & Jorgan Cornaby; and a brother-in-law, Steven Thomson. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ruth Thomson. 

 The family is thankful for the love and excellent care given by Canyon Home Care and Hospice’s registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, chaplain, doctors, and all who attended him.

 Red Rock Medical Supplies provided all of the equipment he required and was delivered and picked back up by a caring employee. 

 Daily personal care was given by Ava of Caring Hearts. All of the service, kindness, and compassion was appreciated by the family. Thank you to the neighbors and friends who have assisted and shown love and support.

 There will be a viewing for friends and family on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, 457 E 300 N, Roosevelt, UT. 

 Following the viewing, per his wishes, he will be cremated.
