Richard Brown

    Richard Brown was a Valentine’s Day gift to his family in 1949. Adored by all of his siblings. He died at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center on May, 12 2022. 
    A 48 year kidney transplant survivor. He loved westerns about Native Americans, doing puzzles, and being with his family.  He enjoyed watching and sponsoring his baseball team, the Richard Brown Sluggers
    Richard is survived by his sisters, Barbara Knighten, Blanche, Loretta and Lois Brown as well as their children, grand children and great-grand children. 
    He is preceded in death by his parents, Ora Fern and Charles William Brown; his brothers, Howard, Edward, Carl and Eugene; his sister, Marta Downing; and his niece, Mary Ann Harward.    
    The family would like to thank Salt Lake Regional for their valiant efforts to make Richard as comfortable as possible and Hullinger Mortuary for their help.
    Funeral services will be held at the Hullinger Mortuary at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022.  A viewing will be held that morning from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m.
    Burial will be in the Avalon Cemetery.
