The funeral service will be live-streamed here.
Reta Sue Jamison, age 67, was born on October 16, 1954. Daughter of Douglas & Lorraine Allred of Myton, UT. She passed away peacefully at Utah Valley Hospital after a battle with conflicting medications.
Sue grew up in the Basin and spent nearly all her life here except for living a short time in Farmington and Carlsbad, NM after she married Joe on November 26, 1977. They were later sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on April 3, 1987. She and Joe currently worked as ordinance workers in the Vernal Temple for the last several years.
She developed cataracts at an early age and had them repaired when she was about 16 years old. Hence, she always liked to see Indian Canyon in the Fall because of the Fall foliage. She was quite friendly and could talk to anyone about nearly anything. She loved her friendship with those she grew up with and had quite a good and accurate recollection of past experiences in her childhood.
Sue was an animal lover, which she passed onto her daughter who now has probably 20 pets. She would take in almost any animal, especially if they looked hungry. Sue became quite an accomplished cook.
Sue is survived by her husband Joe, son Craig (Mari), and daughter Wendy Roberts (Tobin), four grandsons, Kobin, Davin, Hunter, and Tegin.
She is loved by many and will be missed by all.
