Rayliene Legg Bennett, age 60, of Arcadia, passed away September 21, 2016, in Boise, Idaho, just four days after learning she had an aggressive form of liver cancer.
She was born April 24, 1956, in Salt Lake City, to Phillip George and Betty Ann Woodard Legg. She married Lloyd William "Bill" Bennett, and they later divorced. She has been with the love of her life, David Crofts, for the last 16 years.
Rayliene worked as a waitress for many years and in many restaurants in the Salt Lake City area. She had a passion for working in her yard and collecting knick-knacks, wind chimes, dolls, and antiques. In her younger days, she was a talented drawing artist and she enjoyed camping and traveling. Her children & grandchildren were her top priority, and she adored her two dogs, Zeuss and Hercules. The ocean was a place she had a great fondness for.
She is survived by her companion, David Crofts, Arcadia; children, Jennifer Ray Colonna (Ephraim Colorow), Roosevelt; Kenneth William (Atissa) Bennett, Joseph Keith Bennett (Tiffany Poormon), both of Arcadia; step-children, Kerry Lynn (Skyler) Chesnut, American Fork; David Crofts, Jr. (Kayla Kielsmeier); 23 grandchildren, father, Phillip (Arlene) Legg, Fruitland; brothers and sisters, Phil (Tammy) Legg, WA; George Ann (Craig) Nicholls, Fruitland; Terry (Chris) Nielsen; Darren (Lorie) Legg, Deon Legg, all of Salt Lake City; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Ann; nephew, Jeremy Scoville; niece, Bev Ann Onofre; grandparents; and her dogs, Rosey & Spunky.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt Baptist Church.
Cremation arrangements handled by the Hullinger Mortuary.
