Ray Pollard

Ray Andrew Pollard, age 67, of Talmage Utah passed away October 1, 2021 at his home. He passed peacefully of natural causes and will forever be missed.
Ray was born on September 16, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alfred and Bonnie Pollard. He married his loving wife, Doanna Marie Pollard on November 4,1990 in Elk Nevada. Ray held true to his wedding vows to Doanna Pollard, to have and to hold, through sickness and in health, till death do us part..
Ray was a devoted husband, caring father, amazingly smart and lovable grandfather and also a true and loyal friend to everyone who got the pleasure of knowing him. Ray had an old soul full of knowledge, wisdom and understanding. He always had the best jokes and loved to make people laugh. Ray was an Army veteran who served his country honorably. He was an adoring grandfather who taught his grandchildren great and memorable things. They will cherish and hold on to his memory always. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Ray was a master electrician who followed in his fathers footsteps. He enjoyed camping, fly fishing, bow hunting, reading and watching movies with his wife. He lived for the love of his beautiful wife, Doanna Pollard. They spent every waking, loving moment together for the last 35 years. They showed everyone what true unconditional love really is.
With great sadness we say farewell dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.
Ray will be extremely missed, always loved and never forgotten. He will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Ray is survived by his brother, Terry, sisters, Patty and Sandy. His children and two loving step children, Starla and Buddy Wyaskett, grandchildren, Lucky, Richie, Mia, Louie, Dede, Isabelle, Olivia, Faith, Andre and Austin. His great grandchildren and various nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his loving and beautiful wife, Doanna Pollard, parents, Alfred and Bonnie Pollard, son, Peter Hovey and grandson, Dominic Hovey.
