Prettyotter Shooting Star Trujillo, age 6 months, of Cedarview, passed away April 5, 2025, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center from many health complications.
She was born September 22, 2024, in Roosevelt, to Evalita Red Elk Trujillo.
Prettyotter was a fighter since birth. She had various surgeries and was awaiting a liver and intestine transplant. Despite her hardships, she was a happy baby who liked to watch TV, listen to stories, take car rides, and was always talking gibberish and sticking out her tongue. She hated baths, but was curious and very observant.
She is survived by her mother, Evalita; her grandparents, Marietta Cesspooch; Mardale Trujillo; Nieko Blackbird, Leslie & OJ Trujillo, Elliot “Big Al” Serawop; aunts and uncles, Wehay & Daelen Serawop; Riece & Leeanny Myore; Niyoki Trujillo; Kameko Blackbird & kids; Tuney Trujillo; Ojaydale Trujillo; Mariko & Thomas Jenks; Tia-Gina Myore; Marlaina & TJ Sowsonicut; Tirrell & Jaylynn & kids; Steven Lucero; Jacinda & Shannon Jackson; Trujillo, Mills, Cesspooch, Kaufusi, Johnson, Mojado, and Serawop families.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenny Blackbird; and other grandparents.
There will be a wake for her after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building and then a viewing on Thursday from 9-11 a.m. Following the viewing, there will be cremation.
