Oral Boren Fenn, age 94, of Roosevelt, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2016, at the Uintah Basin Sr. Villa.
She was born July 2, 1921, in Vernal, to James Leonard and Flossie Ellen Richins Boren. She married Devan E. Fenn, on July 31, 1939, in Montwell. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on February 7, 1945. Devan died on December 8, 1987.
Oral was a wonderful homemaker who kept everything immaculate. She was the best pie maker and an excellent cook. She enjoyed making quilts, sewing, embroidery, crocheting, and, in her younger days, played some softball. She was a member of the LDS Church and held various callings.
Her family, especially her children and grandchildren, were her greatest joy. She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Oral is survived by her children, Connie Dye, Montes Creek; Carole (John) Andrews, Orem; Shirley (Allan) Frandsen, Coleen (David) Stevens, both of Roosevelt; Ronnie Fenn, Herriman; Lori (Rob) Gines, Logan; 25 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Devan; brothers, Arthur, Earl, Jim, Cecil, & Duane; and a sister, LaVone Robbins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt 2nd & 11th Ward Chapel with a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
