O Neesha Cornpeach

    O Neesha Stanzee-De-nee Cornpeach, age 29, of Ft. Duchesne, died October 20, 2022, in an automobile accident in Whiterocks, Utah.
    She was born July 28, 1993, in Roosevelt, to Stanford D. Cornpeach and Charlyn Tissy Cuch.  
    O Neesha always had children around her and she took care of so many.  She was known as “Aunti O,” and “Auntie Bubble” and “Aunti Bingo.”  She was very traditional, being a Sun Dancer, a traditional dancer, and participated in Peyote Meetings.  For many years she helped her uncle Richard at his lemonade stand at the Pow Wows and Bear Dances.  She really enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being around family and friends.  She liked to talk to anyone and made friends everywhere – she was simply a very kind person who lived life to the fullest.  She was “Lil Miss Ute Tribe” when she was 8 years old.  She also enjoyed traveling and gambling.
    O Neesha is survived by her mother, Tissy Cuch; grandmother, Ina Jane Nephi; adopted grandmother, Eleanor Tom; siblings, Shandale Cornpeach, Jarvis Cuch, Holly Cornpeach, Cecil Cornpeach, Stanley Cornpeach; aunties, Roseanne (Jubal) Myore, Dellana Redfoot, Bettina Redfoot, Jolene (Richard) Poowegup; Marion Serawop, Dolly Cuch, Lora Tom, Luci Pineda, Dorothy Poke; uncle, Damen Polk; special nieces and nephews whom she helped raise, Riondee Sireech & Evanjolean; nephews, Tristan & Sonny Cornpeach; Rance & Wesley Root; nieces Mariposa Santio; special cousins, Jubal Myore, Jr., Robert Nephi, Randon Nakai, Travis Mart, Bill & Carlo Poowegup; cousins, Rosa Myore, Zhondee Nephi, Deetha Mart, Ivana Nephi, Quanah Poowegup, Behada Nakai, Jocita Poowegup, Shastie Swan Nephi, Roberto, Antonio, & Juanita Pozos; and numerous other nieces, nephews, aunt and uncle.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Stanford; a sister, Dawntae Cornpeach, uncles, Newman & Newton; aunts, Elizabeth Pozos, Gidgett Taveapont, Lynette & Lalissa Taveapont, a special friend, Monique Wopsock, Rossie Longhair, and Ritchie Pargeets; grandmothers, Ruth Quinn Cuch, Marie Grant, Flora Cornpeach. 
    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building.  There will be a wake after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at her mother, Tissy Cuch's, home, 7250 E 640 S, Ft. Duchesne.  She will be at the home for Tuesday night and Wednesday night, but the wake will only be after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.  
    Burial will be in the Red Knoll Cemetery.
