Norman Dee Anderson, age 74, of Roosevelt, passed away in his sleep on November 13, 2024, at his home.
He was born February 15, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lewis and Valeta Hansen Anderson. He married Cora Jean Perkes, and they later divorced. Norm and Jeanie were best of friends, and they stayed close to each other through the years.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Vietnam.
Norman was a professional auto body and fender repairman, and worked in construction remodeling homes. He was a jack of all trades. He really enjoyed rebuilding cars and motorcycles, which were a passion of his. He liked to hunt, fish, camp, and go to car shows. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends, and his dog, Porter.
Norman is survived by his children, Casey (Brenda “Wing”) Anderson, Kearns, Utah; Jennifer (Jaramey) Anderson-Walton, Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Colton, Steven, and Thomas Anderson; great-grandchildren, Alice, William, Benny, Emberley, Akasha, & Patty; and very special friends and caregivers, Tammy & Bill Preston.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 8 siblings; a daughter, Carie Ann; and his two dogs, Dewey and Shasta.
Per his wishes, he was cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life in the Spring.
