Micah Stephen Cambridge unexpectedly departed this world on Thursday March 18,
2021. He was born March 15, 1980 to Merelynn Groves Cambridge and Norman Cambridge Sr.
Micah attended school in Roosevelt and Myton and was a Union High athlete and graduate. He was a proud member of the Ute Tribe and was currently working for them as a driver. Micah was very intelligent and skilled.
He worked in the oilfield, construction, welding, and numerous sales positions. He was always very interested in leadership and communication and was always happy to help and learn from others. He was proud to be in the Landmark program which allowed him to know business owners from many cities throughout the US and world.
To his family, Micah was physically gifted from a young age. He mastered tasks of coordination and strength easily. And he was very intelligent, playing chess near a Grandmaster-level, enjoying poetry, travel, and photography. An avid reader and learner, he devoured books about “Conan the Barbarian” and Scientology among many others as a teen, then matured to what he had come to value most: communication. He never shied away from difficult topics and always had uncommon insights. A positive thinker, he believed anyone could overcome any circumstance with a little insight and work. His family will tell you that they know him for his laugh and smile, because it was distinct and it was heard often when you spoke with him, they will miss that the most. Those who know Micah can attest that these last years of his life he always ended conversations by telling you he loved you.
Micah was a faithful friend through life. He considered many of his friends in Myton, Roosevelt, and the oilfield, his brothers. He considered the Slims, the Limons, the Manzanareses, and Brandon Caldwell, his extended family.
Micah might say that he has awoken from this dream called life and will now practice the coaching he loved to do on a new level. We will miss him very much.
He is survived by his parents, Norm and Merelynn, Myton; siblings, Norm (Anne), Page, AZ; Harley, Salt Lake City; Kelly, Vernal; Karen (Austin Wallen), Neola; and Luke (Michelle) Las Vegas; cousins Lisa & Scott Groves; Jana, Jerome, Julie & Justin Groves; Tina, Jay, Alan, Amanda, & Rachel Groves; Elaine, April, Ashley & Melba Groves; Nicholas, Alex Thompson; Rolando Groves; Charles, Christian, & Sahara Cambridge; Joshua & Pacer Toponotes; and nieces and nephews, Jalynn and Alan Cambridge Bolton & baby Melina; Kortney, Kruz & Kolby Cambridge; Isiah and Ninabah Cambridge; Sera, Evan, Sofia, and Maya Cambridge; Romeo, Lupe, Adajia and Eagle Valley Zuniga Cambridge.
