Mathew Farmtino James

Mathew Farmtino James, age 31, of Roosevelt, passed away June 24, 2018, at his home.
He was born June 21, 1987, in Roosevelt, to Floyd Grant James and Georgina Mae Cesspooch.  He has been together with Wendellena Navanick for over eleven years.
Mathew worked at Burger King, Ute Petro, and when younger during the summers, at the Ute Tribe Fish and Game Department. He was a Sundancer, a sketch artist, and in his younger days, a skateboarder.  He was a flashy guy who loved his “bling,” and working on his car.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors, traveling, listening to music, and being around people.  He had a big heart and was always thoughtful and helpful.  His family was his number one priority and he loved them with all his heart.  
Mathew is survived by his companion, Wendellena, children, Darien, Kaelem, Serenity James, all of Roosevelt; mother, Georgina Cesspooch, Randlett; brothers and sisters, Summer-Rain & Winter-Ann James, both of Richardson Subdivision; LaVerne Jenks (Quetin Mojado), Randlett; Anaveya Moore, Delonte Chegup, all of Randlett; parents-in-law, Cheron & Wendell Navanick, Ft. Duchesne; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 
He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd James; grandparents, Bernice Pawwinnee, Floydina Appawora, and Valentino James; and an infant step-daughter, Kira Ignacio.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Randlett.  He will be taken to the Ft. Duchesne Gym for a wake on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
