Marvin Post Jenks, age 35, of Ouray, passed away on April 29, 2016 at his home after a long illness.
Marvin was born November 21, 1980 in Roosevelt to Percy and Hanna Louise Cesspooch Jenks. He graduated from Flandreau Indian High School in South Dakota.
Marvin enjoyed his family, listening to music, being in the outdoors, cooking, traveling, camping at Pow-Wows, and the Bear Dance. He admired old cars and liked to work on them. He liked freestyle, grafiti, spending time with family and friends and doing BBQ's. He was a tease and enjoyed joking around. In his younger years he participated in rodeos, and later attended them.
He is survived by his father, Percy Jenks, siblings, Percy (Skye) Jenks, Thomas (Venus) Jenks, Perlena Jenks, Haona (Dany) Aplinario, Jesylene (Joe) Jenks, nephews, Randon and Diante Jenks, Wintersun & Nolan LeBeau, baby Danny Aplinario, Kingston Blackhorse, Roscoe & Sol Checora, Alykay, Percy & Miles Jenks, nieces, LittleSpring Black, Nakiah Jenks, Khloe LaBeau, Jro Checora, Hanna Q Dodge, Analia Arrowgarp, Cinnaray, and LeeRica Accawanna.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hanna L Jenks, sister, Quinnina Tyler and grandmothers & grandfathers, brother-in-law WinterHawk LeBeau.
Funeral services will be held at the Randlett LDS Chapel on Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m.
Burial in the Randlett Cemetery.
