Marvin Lee Bozarth, Sr., age 85, of Roosevelt, passed away on April 3, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.
Marvin was born May 27, 1938, in Beaver County, Oklahoma, to Auto Fay and Eula Colton Bozarth. He married Rose Mary “Rosie” Bargas on August 28, 1969.
Marvin came to the Basin about 50 years ago to work in the oilfield. He enjoyed working and was even know to play a game of gin with some of his Co-workers on job sites. He liked attending car shows, playing his guitar, fishing, camping, playing cards and had a talent of fixing clocks. He was a real practical joker and was always very active. He was a proud supporter of the Shriners Hospital and loved helping children in need.
He is survived by his wife Rosie Bozarth, children, Tammy (Keith) Rowekamp, Marvin Lee, Jr (Georgia) Bozarth, Rocky Len (Charla) Bozarth, 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Auto (Doris) Bozarth, and sisters-in-law, Terry Bozarth, Connie Bozarth, and brother-in-law, Billy Firth.
He is preceded in death by his son, Leroy Bozarth, and siblings Melvin Bozarth, Ivan Bozarth, David Bozarth and Faye Firth.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Hullinger Mortuary from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Following the viewing he will be transported to Laverne, Oklahoma, for burial in the Bozarth Family Cemetery.
