Marshall Jr. Colorow, age 79, of Myton, passed away November 12, 2017 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.
Marshall was born August 23, 1938 in Ft. Duchesne to Robert Sr., and Frances Ankerpont Colorow. He married Bonnie Kay Dutchie Hatch on November 10, 1981.
Marshall loved playing with his Ipod, especially playing poker. In his younger years he enjoyed being a cowboy. He liked the mountains, traveling and was an avid camper. He was very spiritual and prayed for his people. He was a devout member of the Native American Church and also participated in the Sun Dance. His family was most important to him and he cherished each one of them.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Colorow, step-children, Cletis Edward (Gina) Hatch, Stephen Bradford (Sherry Billie) Hatch, siblings, Jeannette Reed, Glenda (Norman) Lopez, Gwendolyn Colorow, Rose Marie Mountainlion, Delina (Elmo) Atler, Lisa (Rilleto) Sireech, Byron Lynn Mountainlion and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-daughter, Kayla Hatch Paddock, brothers, David Colorow, Hewitt Colorow, Coulson Colorow, Raymond Colorow, Jay Mountainlion, nephews, Bryson Mountainlion; niece, Dottie Ann Reed and brothers-in-law, Robert Tapoof, Sr. & Robert Reed.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Myton City Cemetery. Viewing will be only at the mortuary on Tuesday and Wednesday until 6:00 p.m. There will be no viewing at the cemetery.
