***Due to excessive rain the GRAVESIDE portion of the service has been postponed until Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Washington Cemetery.

Marlane Ankerpont, age 33, and her son Daylynn Cuch, age 11, of Whiterocks, were killed in an automobile accident on September 18, 2016, while on their way to church in Whiterocks.
Marlane was born November 20, 1982, in Roosevelt, to Marshall Adams and Lolita Ankerpont, and then was adopted by Danny and Carol Iorg. She has been the companion of Leander Cuch for 12 years.
Daylynn Cuch was born September 5, 2005, in Roosevelt, to Leander Lee Cuch and Marlane Ankerpont.
Marlane went to school and achieved her Child Development Associates and was going to school for her bachelors. She worked at the Ute Tribe Headstart as a teacher and in the Tribal Daycare. She loved the kids, was well respected by all with whom she worked, and was very organized. She was a Pow Wow dancer, played Handgames and was a singer, and was good at beadwork. She made delicious meals and was often the host for all of the major holidays. One of her favorite things to do was sing karaoke and dance with Daylynn. She was a loving mother who adored spending time with her family. She and Leander made sure they always had a date night, and her infectious laugh, kindness and happy personality will be what everyone will remember.
Daylynn was a fun and loving brother and son. He was a major hip hop dancer, played every sport, grass dancer at Pow Wows, and video-gamer - often beating his Uncle Lincoln and his brother Blane on every game they played. He competed in the Tri-Ute games in archery, football, basketball, and T-Ball. His aspirations were to be a video game creator and a postman. He had a big heart and a special aura that made you love him. He was kind and respectful to his sisters, often making sure their needs were met first.
Marlane and Daylynn were much loved and will truly be missed.
They are survived by their husband and father, Leander Cuch; children and siblings, Blane, Mckayla Rosalee, Raven Winterbreeze, Evelyn Gweneth "Dottie" Cuch; all of Whiterocks; Marlane's adopted father, Danny Iorg; mother, Lolita Ankerpont; sister and aunt, Sheila Iorg, grandparents, Curtis & Geraldine Cuch; Gwen Cuch; Eloise & Keith Adams; in-laws and aunts and uncles, Geraldina & Adrian Eagle Hawk, Lincoln Bush, SueAnn & Jubienal Esquivel, Doreen Colorow, Delphine Glascoe and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
They were preceded in death by Marlane's adopted mother, Carol; and her biological father, Marshall Adams.
Joint funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church in Whiterocks. There will be a wake on Wednesday after 4:00 p.m. at the residence of Gwen Cuch, 3392 East 1345 North, Ballard.
Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery in Whiterocks on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th at 10:00 a.m.
