   Marilyn Russell Larsen, “Mare” age 67, formerly of Roosevelt, Utah died May 27, 2019 after a short but intense battle with cancer in her home in St. George Utah, surrounded by loved ones.
    She was the 5th of 7 children born on August 29, 1951 to Loral Russell and Betty Rae Crowther Russell in Salt Lake City, Utah.
    Marilyn was raised in Bridgeland, and graduated from Union High School in 1969, after which she married the love of her life Mark Larsen, this union lasted for 11 days short of their 50th wedding anniversary. Mark and Marilyn ran and operated different businesses such as Mel’s Distributing and The Outpost Mercantile. Marilyn also worked at Work Force Services until she retired in 2010.
    Marilyn was a very hard working, accommodating person who always made sure everyone around her was well taken care of, especially Mark.
    Marilyn loved golf, gardening, hummingbirds, rides in the mountains, antiquing and smores. Most of all she loved and cherished her children and grandchildren.
    During retirement Mark and Marilyn were snowbirds, they lived in St. George in the winter and spent their summers in Hanna at the cabin.
    Marilyn is survived by her spouse, Mark Larsen and their three children, Mike (Connie) Larsen, Angie (Pete) Schen and Judd (Mickenzie) Larsen. Marilyn had 10 grandchildren. Nicholas Larsen, Alexa Larsen, Davis Larsen, Tessa Larsen, Abrielle Hartman, Ellie Hartman, Taya Schen, Drayton Gates, Mickazlyn Larsen and Lynden Larsen. Her siblings are Carol Ann Thomson, Sharon Robb, Holly Jensen and Jack Russell.
    She is preceded in death by her parents, Loral and Betty Russell, brothers, Dirk Russell, Dick Russel,l and Katie her beloved dog.
    Thank you to our friends and family for your love and support during this difficult time.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Roosevelt 2nd & 11th Ward Chapel.  Viewings will be held at the church on Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 - 11:45 a.m.
    Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
