Marie Bolton Etheredge

Marie Bolton Etheredge passed away on November 24th 2023 at the age of 63. Marie was born on June 24th 1960 to Joyce Haslem Bolton and Gerald Mervin Bolton in Roosevelt Utah.

Marie married Ron Etheredge on May 21st 2001 in Flaming Gorge Utah. Marie enjoyed horses, barrel racing, beading horse tack with Carol Jack. She enjoyed playing the piano or the organ in church. She also enjoyed irrigating the field watching the bubbles which attracted the birds. She loved looking at the beautiful sunsets that she said mom painted just for her. Her favorite times were going on barrel racing trips with Dagan and Chanel. She loved her trips to Michigan to visit family and enjoy the beautiful scenery. She worked for different employers doing accounting or secretarial work. We really aren't sure of all she did, but we know she brought home a paycheck. She was our baby sister, she was extremely loved, spoiled rotten and very determined!

She is survived by her husband; Ron, son; Mike (Julie), daughter; Beverly (Cody), siblings; Merritt Bolton, Ann Zufelt, Nila Wilcken, Sandra Holmes. She is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends. Special nieces, Katie Holmes, and Raelynn Zufelt.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Gerald and Joyce Bolton, sister-in-law; Yvonne Bolton, brother-in-law; Ray Zufelt. Mother-in-law and father-in-law Willard (Bam) and Millie Etheredge.

Funeral Services for Marie will be held Saturday December 2nd 2023 at 11:00 am at the Lapoint LDS Church (6877 North, 10600 East, LaPoint). A viewing and visitation for family and friends will be held at 9:45am - 10:45am at the chapel. Private family interment will in the Roosevelt City Cemetery at a later date. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
