Mandy Kristina Warr

    Mandy Kristina Richens Warr, age 43, of Duchesne, passed away October 25, 2018, at the University of Utah Hospital after a long illness.
    She was born February 17, 1975, in Salt Lake City to George Frew and Barbara Jean McGee Richens.
    After the family moved to Arcadia when Mandy was four, she was raised by her step-dad Roger Arlo Richens and her mom. She grew up on the farm and helped with everything from taking care of the animals to riding horses – she loved all of it! She enjoyed fishing and doing anything outdoors; watching her TV shows; reading her books; helping her mom with her farm; and attending concerts, her most recent ones being Neil Diamond and Willie Nelson. She was a dedicated football fan, and never missed a Broncos game. Her greatest accomplishment, besides her two sons, was obtaining her realtor’s license in 2009, right before she became ill.
    She was the best mom and her boys were her life. She will be deeply missed.
    Mandy is survived by her sons, Taylor Warr (Justin May-Warr), Duchesne; Cassidy Warr (Jasmine Pacheco), St. George; granddaughters, Oaklee Warr and Quakee Warr; mother, Barbara Richens, Ft. Duchesne; sister, Debbie (Greg) Forsyth, Cedar City; brother, Gene Bowman, Salt Lake City; numerous nieces and nephews; her pets, Copper and Trixie; grand-dogs, Bentley and Cletus; and her favorite kid (goat), Leia.
    She was preceded in death by her step-father, Roger, and all of her grandparents.
    There will be a viewing and visitation followed by a small service on Thursday, November 1, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, 457 East 300 North, Roosevelt.
