Mandy was born on July 8, 1977, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Ernest Allen and Dianna Nadine Shifflet Hadlock. She married Charles Thomas Powell on February 13, 1999, in Roosevelt.
Mandy loved people. She would help people, even if she didn’t know them or even like them. She liked to camp and do things in the outdoors. She was crafty and liked to make cards. She was an excellent cook, but only when she wanted to be, and made delicious cupcakes and candy. She loved animals, especially cats and her pet chicken. She liked to spend time gardening and was a true Chevy girl. Her favorite color was Chevrolet Polynesian Green Metallic.
Mandy’s whole world revolved around her family. She would do anything for her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. She took care of everything for them. Celebrating holidays with her family was always a highlight in her life. Mandy truly loved life.
