MaKenzie Ann Nielsen

    MaKenzie Ann Nielsen, age 4, of Independence, passed away April 13, 2015, from injuries sustained in an accident.
    She was born October 3, 2010, in Roosevelt, to Travis and Carol Womack Nielsen.
    MaKenzie was an active and energetic little girl who made everyone light up wherever she went.  She was quick to make friends and loved life.  MaKenzie could often be found playing on the farm with the chickens, dogs and horses, often dragging her sister, Sara, right behind her.  
    MaKenzie loved her family, following along on whatever they were doing.  When someone was going out to feed the cows or work on the farm, she was right behind them no matter what!
    MaKenzie is survived by her parents, Travis and Carol Nielsen, of Independence; brother and sisters, Brodie Charles Fausett, Kimberly Lynn Fausett, Sadie Marie Fausett, Laurel Whitney Fausett, and Sarah Emma Nielsen; grandparents, Craig and Trudy Nielsen, Meeker, CO; Donald and Debra Womack, Independence; great-grandparents, Cleo Womack, Independence; and Boyd and Merle Powell, Cedarview.
    She was preceded in death by her great-grandpa, Stanley Womack.
    Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ballard LDS Chapel.  A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6-8 at the Hullinger Mortuary.  
    Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
