Luella Fielding

Luella Jenson Fielding, age 80, of Talmage, passed away March 11, 2020, at the Uintah Basin Sr. Villa.
She was born March 28, 1939, in Talmage, to Joseph Calvin and Lorna Christensen Jenson.  She married Berkley Alan Fielding and they later divorced.
Luella worked for over 30 years as a seamstress for Beehive Clothing Mill in Salt Lake City.  She was a talented seamstress and made many quilts and other crafts.  She had a great fondness for Disney movies, John Wayne westerns, and was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz - especially Karl Malone.  Her favorite pastime was working in her garden and home and making it exactly the way she wanted – just perfect.  She loved animals of all types.
She was the kindest, sweetest, most gentle person who had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life.  She battled cancer three times over the past eight years – winning twice and finally succumbing this last time – all the while telling everyone she was “fine” and that she’s “not a whiner.”  She really was a fighter!
Luella was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings.  She loved her family and was very proud of them.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Linda) Fielding, Vernal; Denise (Jim) Knorr, Heber; grandchildren, Amber Bronson, Afton, Aubri, Arica, & Sarah Fielding; Adam (Jessica) Knorr; 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Rowley, Roosevelt; Arnold (Loretta) Jenson, Talmage; Roberta Nielsen, Duchesne; Dena Fellows, Salt Lake City; LaVerne (Jeanie) Jenson, Corinne, UT; Leola Jensen; Talmage; Maxine (Barry) Skinner, Soda Springs; Dallas (Ilene) Jensen, Talmage; Eugene (Mindy) Jenson, Talmage; and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Beverly Stevenson, Reed, Leslie, Robert & an infant sister Jenson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Moon Lake Ward Chapel in Mountain Home.  There will be a viewing that morning from 9-10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Talmage Cemetery.
