Lucy Colorow

Lucy Christine McCook Colorow, age 56, of West Valley City, passed away March 15, 2016 at her home.
Lucy was born December 13, 1959 in Roosevelt to Ouray and Georgia Williams McCook. She married Nelson Lee Colorow on January 5, 1984 in Ft. Duchesne. He died August 7, 2007.
Lucy was a wonderful artist, she had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed doing karaoke. She liked to play board games, travel, attend Pow Wows, and go to the casino. Her favorite thing was to spend time with her family, she delighted in her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Nelson "Big" Colorow, SLC; Robin (Emillio Tapoof) Colorow, Vernal; Hewitt (Melanie) Colorow, SLC; her siblings, Roland McCook, Sr., Montrose, CO; Mary (Everett) Colorow, Arcadia; Chipeta McCook, Ft. Duchesne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Ouray, Jr., Lafayette, Boyd, Floyd, Stanford and Loren McCook, sisters, Dianne McCook, Tannie Shelly Zepeda, nephews, Aaron McCook, Ouray McCook, III, Arlo Queacut, Clarence McCook, and an infant great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Helen's Catholic Church. A wake will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Friday at Chipeta McCook's home in Ft. Duchesne.
Burial in the Randlett Cemetery.
