Lorna Louise Clegg, age 64, of Roosevelt, passed away April 16, 2025, at the University of Utah Hospital after a long illness.
She was born May 8, 1960, in Denver, Colorado, to Marvin and Bernice Cage Gibson. She married Todd Ray Clegg on April 24, 1992, in Roosevelt.
Lorna was like a giant sunflower in a bed full of day lilies, she was the brightest lit smile in a room. Her hobbies were her garden and family. She loved adding more fairies and gnomes to their little villages that she had created for them.
Her heart was so big and caring and she was so quick to help anyone in need. She was such a HUGE part of the community and couldn't say no to helping in anyway she could.
She always did what it took to protect the kids while she was a crossing guard.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and absolutely loved teaching her class... the sunbeams adored her and she adored everyone of them. She worked 20+ years as a special education aid and she loved watching her students learn and grow.
Lorna was one of the most family-oriented ladies you'd meet and always had a welcoming vibe in her home. She always taught her kids and grandkids that God is with us (trust in him), and family sticks together through the good and the bad. Also to kill people with kindness.
Lorna is survived by her husband of almost 33 years, Todd; daughter, Brianna Clegg (Kadyn Edens), Eden, Utah; grandchildren Michael Mason, Val & Hadyn Edens; Morrison Johnson; Riot Gibson; siblings, Paul (Lucy) Gibson, Eagle Mountain; Darla Gibson, Alaska; Allan Gibson, Salt Lake City; Marvin “Buddy” (Phyllis) Gibson, Jr, Logan; Mike Gibson, Salt Lake City; Drinda Jensen, Roosevelt; Faith (Marshall) Owens; Kara Wisner, both of Preston, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brittany Gibson, and her parents.
