Lorena Atwine

Lorena Daybreak Atwine, age 81, of Towaoc, CO, passed away December 6, 2024, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

 Lorena was born January 4, 2024, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Sidney and Eugenia Atwine. 

 Lorena enjoyed sewing, beading, gambling, watching movies, especially westerns, and playing cards. She delighted in visiting with others, and she was a social butterfly who found friends wherever she went. She was very traditional and always made time to attend the Sundance and Pow Wows. She was always encouraging and supportive. 

 Lorena is survived by her children, Ronnie Summa, Sr., Sandy Summa, Jessica Summa; step-daughter, Tamaris Summa; 23 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy Atwine, Ruby Atwine, Phoebe Atwine, and Betty Atwine; children, Lorenzo Summa, Leander Summa; and grandchildren, Issiah Summa, Ramon Summa, and Tevan Collins.

 Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Whiterocks Community Building. A wake will be held after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the community building. 

 Burial will be in the Red Knoll Cemetery.
