Watch Live Stream HERE Lois Joan Christensen Dudley, age 84, passed away at her home in Roosevelt, on March 12, 2024.
Lois was born August 15, 1939 in Whiterocks, Utah to Carl Eionor “Eaner” and Verlie Murray Christensen. She grew up in the Basin around both her parents families.
In her later teenage years she moved to Colorado to be with her mom and there she met Kyle Dudley, they fell in love and married in 1958 in Denver. They were married 51 ½ years before he passed away on May 4, 2010.
Lois was a head clerk at King Soopers in Colorado until she retired and came back to the Basin.
She was a fun loving woman who loved everyone and always made sure that they felt loved. Anyone who met her would always comment on how loving and kind she was.
She enjoyed doing crafts, play cards, and do word search puzzles. She loved her animals and would also call them her children.
She is survived by her children, Kyle “Butch” Dudley, Athens, Alabama; Lynda (Pat) Moore, Roosevelt, Utah; her siblings, Karleen Keefer, brother, Maynard Christensen, 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Dudley, son, Paul Dudley, parents, and her sister, Carma Robb.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Park Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 32 N State Street. A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Neola Cemetery.
