Lisa Jarvis

    Lisa Garner Jarvis, age 31, of Pleasant Grove, formerly of Roosevelt, passed away August 18, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.
    She was born November 4, 1985, in Roosevelt, to Dennis R and Amelia Hullinger Garner.  She graduated from Union High School and attended Utah State University where she earned her Associates Degree.  She married Matthew Gordon Jarvis on September 15, 2012, in her parents’ backyard in Roosevelt.  
    Lisa was a beautiful person inside and out and had a passion for fashion and shoes.  She had the best attitude even in times of sickness and loved helping others.  She was strong up to the end and was the best wife and mother.  She is very loved and will be deeply missed.
    She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    Lisa is survived by her husband, Matt; son, Jake Jantzen Jarvis, Pleasant Grove; step-son, Matthew Levi Jarvis, Draper; parents, Dennis & Amelia Garner, Roosevelt; brothers and sister, Jacob (Becky) Garner; Keith (Cherie) Garner, both of South Jordan; Natalie (Shawn) Cochrane, Bedford, Indiana; Gregory (Amanda) Garner; Michael Garner, both of Roosevelt, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
    She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hollis & Elaine Hullinger; and Carl & Merintha Garner.
    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove 6th Ward LDS Chapel, 1136 W 700 S, Pleasant Grove where a viewing will be from 9-9:45 a.m.
    Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park at 2:30 p.m.
