A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Linda Faye Morrill, age 72, left this world on September 28, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family after a short battle with liver failure.

 Linda was born on March 17, 1952, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Preston and Donna Mitchell. She was the seventh of nine children.

 She married Rex Tanner in December of 1969, they had 2 children, Preston Glen Tanner and Melody Dawn Buttler, they divorced after 10 years. She then married Nolan Jay Morrill on September 6, 1980, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were sealed for time and all eternity on September 6, 1991, in the Sale Lake Temple. Nolan brought 2 children into the marriage, Vernon Morrill, and Peggy Taylor, together they had 1 daughter, Michelle Reena Mitchell.

 Linda worked at Stewarts and IGA in the bakery and deli for quite a few years. She also ran a day care center in her home and watched her sister’s kids and others. Later she decided to get her CDL and go drive truck with Nolan. Their Kenworth had a sleeper and they logged many miles together.

 She is survived by her husband, Nolan, all of her children, brothers and sisters, Daisy Kidd; Ronald and Norma Mitchell; Thelma Postma; Jay and Janet Mitchell; Kathy Mitchell; Carol and Brent Foote; and LaWanna and Dale Cole; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Donna Mitchell; in-laws, Vernon “Banjo” and Gladys Morrill; sister, Laura Mitchell; brother, Charles Mitchell; brothers-in-law, Dale Kidd; John Postma; Jeff Allred, Clinton Morrill; and Valden Morrill; one niece and one nephew.

 Funeral services will be held at October 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neola Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There will be a viewing from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Following the services she will be cremated.
