LeRoy Murray

LeRoy Swift Eagle Murray, age 28, of Randlett, passed away August 13, 2016, at the University of Utah Hospital.
He was born February 22, 1988, in Roosevelt, to LeRoy Dennis Murray and Rosita Marie Serawop.
LeRoy worked as a roustabout in the oilfield and in construction. He enjoyed hunting, riding 4-wheelers, being in the outdoors, and eating. He was a Jr. Bull Rider and achieved many ribbons. He was a big tease to his nieces and nephews and had a good sense of humor. He was always proud and never backed away from a fight. He loved his family and liked to spend time with his father at Sundances.
He is survived by his father LeRoy Dennis Murray, Randlett; grandmother, Gardenia Murray; grandfather, Lee Alhandra; brothers and sisters, Charlene (Jersinio) Apolinario, Roosevelt; Nicole Uasila'a, Roosevelt; Alrita (JT) Murray, Ft. Duchesne; Tony (Pamela) Greaves, Ignacio, CO; Alfred Greaves, III, Vernal; Sandi SoftDove (Jacob) Chegup, LaPoint; Roselyn Raven Murray, Randlett; Eugene Murray, North Carolina; Jenell Murray, Vernal; Anthony Murray, Salt Lake City; Shaina Lila (Kale) Cotner, Price; Kayleen Murray (CJ Rebson), Ft. Duchesne; Coby Murray, Ft. Duchesne; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Alfred, Jennifer, and a baby boy Murray; his mother, Rosita Marie Serawop; grandmothers, Lena Marie Alhandra & Sandra Natchees; grandfather, Larry Murray.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at the Randlett LDS Church. He was taken to his sister, Sandi's home, 7000 North 9000 East in Lapoint at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday for a wake.
