Leo Ray Cesspooch, 64, of Gusher, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Intermountain Medical Center in SLC.
Leo was born August 12, 1950 in Ft. Duchesne to Frank R and Evalita Wissiup Cesspooch. He married Ramona Mae Tyler on March 19, 1975 in Ft. Duchesne.
Leo graduated from the American Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM and was proud to be an active alumni. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and attending the Pow Wow. He was a silver smith and designed and made wonderful jewelry and other items through the years. He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with each of them. He belong to the Northern Ute Singers and the White River Singers and shared his singing talents through out the area.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona Cesspooch, Gusher; children, Leroy (Jennifer) Cesspooch, Ft. Duchesne; Terrance (Shayla Conduff) Cesspooch, West Valley City; Leta (Natasha) Cesspooch, Gusher; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, siblings, Rose Marie Serawop, Alfred Cesspooch, Sr., both of Randlett; Lesa (Silent) Jenkins, Sunshine Acres, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Hannah Jenks, Frieda Cesspooch, Frank R. Cesspooch, Sr., Harold Cesspooch, Roderick, Cesspooch and Phillip Cesspooch.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Randlett Cemetery.
A wake will be held on Thursday after 4:00 p.m. at his home in Gusher.
