Laura Doine

    Laura Cecil Laver Doine, age 90, of Duchesne, passed away May 26, 2015, at her home.
    She was born September 11, 1924, in Mammoth, Utah, to LeRoy and Anna Mae Bringhurst Laver.  She married Raymond F. Doine, on October 28, 2008, in Fillmore.
    Laura worked as a receptionist and bookkeeper for many companies around the country, including the company that owned the Oakland Raiders, the Forrest Service, and Beneficial Life.  She liked to be on the move in her earlier years and lived in a different place almost every year of her children’s lives.  She enjoyed dancing & singing in her younger years, reading, embroidery, bowling, and a good crossword puzzle.
    She is survived by her husband, Raymond, of Duchesne; children, Jana (Darrell) Shelton, Taos, NM; Sheree (Dave) Peterson, Dublin, CA; Bryan (Rose) Krueger, Winsto-Salem, NC; William Cash Krueger, Hayward, CA; a step-daughter, Cheryl (Mark) Ewart, Duchesne; grandchildren, Brandon, Zoann, Whitney Shelton; Danielle Scribner, Emily, Rachel Krueger; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan, & Molly Scribner.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, and all of her sisters, Marj Olsen, Marion Adamson, Dorothy “Billie” Burke, and Lorna Eslund.
    Graveside services held Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Scipio City Cemetery under the direction of the Hullinger Mortuary.
