Latoya Ramona Wyasket, age 36, of Ft. Duchesne and Ogden, was discovered deceased on September 27, 2017, in Ogden. She had been missing for months prior to that, but was only positively identified January 23, 2020, after extensive DNA testing.
She was born August 26, 1981, in Roosevelt, to Theodore Vernal Sr. and Bertha Louise John Wyasket.
Latoya was a “free spirit” who made friends with everyone. She was loving and always gave hugs. She enjoyed listening to music, using make-up and being glamorous. Although she struggled throughout her life with many personal hardships, she tried to be happy and positive.
She kept close to her family, and loved her children, trying to do the best she could for them.
Latoya is survived by her children, Nicholas & Alyzaya Sinoben; Drazen Gardner; Sparrow Rain Wyasket John; brothers and sisters, Soraya Wyasket (Glen Hodges), Theodore Wyasket, Jr., Dotsy Wyasket, Telly Wyasket, Blossom (Daniel) Barney; aunts and uncles, Florenze Wanzitz, Angelito Chegup, Faron Wyasket, Linda Artica, Harlo, Lynn, & Alonzo John; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Cedric Lee Fightingbear other aunts, uncles, and cousins .
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery
