Larry Rasmussen

    Larry James Rasmussen, age 64, of Duchesne, passed away while in his sleep on Monday, January 23, 2017.
    Larry was born June 1, 1952 in Duchesne to Eugene Wintworth and Neva Summers Rasmussen.  He graduated from Duchesne High.  He married Darlene Bowman, together they had 3 children, they later divorced.  Larry met Novalea Gerrard and together they had 2 children. 
    Larry was a jack of all trades.  He worked on ranches and in the oilfield.  He loved to hunt and tinker with things.  Larry cherished his children, grand children and great grandchildren.  He delighted in spending time with each family member.
    He is survived by his companion of 33 years, Novalea Gerrard, children, Jamie Rasmussen, Jenny Rasmussen, Sonya Rasmussen, Elizabeth Rasmussen, Richard Rasmussen, siblings, Beth Tanner, Jan Rasmussen, Dennis Rasmussen, Roger Rasmussen, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Rose Marie Rasmussen, Alona Kelsey, Carol Iorg, Rex Rasmussen, a grandson, Clinton, 2 nephews and a niece.  
    Funeral service held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Duchesne 3rd Ward LDS Chapel.  Viewings will be held at the church on Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. and Saturday 1 hour prior to the service.
    Burial in the Strawberry Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made at the Hullinger Mortuary or on gofundme.com in Larry’s name.
