Heaven got a new cowboy when Larry Alma Pace of Fruitland passed away in his home on February 2, 2015.
He was born on June 4, 1942, to Cleston and Josie Pace in Provo, Utah. He was the second of seven children. Later, he met the love of his life, Carolyn Andersen, and they were married on December 29, 1961. Together they had five children
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He played the accordion and enjoyed woodcrafting. He loved all kinds of animals, raising birds, pigs, dogs, and especially horses throughout his lifetime. He is beloved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He had an easy-going nature and loved spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, son, Cleston Larry (Karen) Pace, daughters, Kimberlee Pace, Jana (John) Hendricks, all of Fruitland; Teri (Randy) Karren, Roff, OK; brothers, Randy (Nikki) and Hal Dee Pace, Fruitland; sister, Judy (Mike) Baker Littlefield, AZ. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by son, Richard Jay, his parents, siblings, Kathy, Wayne, and Don Pace.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Fruitland Cemetery. This will be followed by a luncheon and celebration of life at the Fruitland LDS Church. All who would like to pay their respects are welcome to attend.
