Larry James “Bebs” Nez, Jr., age 43, of Yellowstone Subdivision, passed away September 14, 2021, at the University of Utah Hospital.
He was born May 17, 1978, in Vernal, to Larry James Nez, Sr. and Venice Shavanaux.
Larry was a derrick hand in the oil field and a firefighter. He enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, drawing, listening to music and gambling. He was a big jokester and loved his family and spending time with them.
Larry is survived by his children, Landon Nez, Kaiden Nez, Tregg Nez, Larrine Nez, parents, Larry Nez, Venice Shavanaux; siblings, Harlan Nez, Dotsy Wyasket, Laura Nez, all of Yellowstone Subdivision; Duane Garfield, Richardson Subdivision; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Mason Nez; brothers, Eli, Blake, & Keith; and nephews, Draven & Elias.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at his sister, Laura Nez’s, home (1750 N 5600 E) in the Yellowstone Subdivision in Ft. Duchesne. He will be taken to his sister’s house on Friday at 4:00 p.m. for the wake.
Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
