Lamar Tapoof

    Lamar Tapoof, age 18, died on March 10, 2025, in Jefferson City, Missouri.
    Lamar was born on September 28, 2006, at 8:15 AM, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Tyrone Tapoof and Sandy Ortiz.
    Lamar loved gaming and being online with his best friends, Orlando and Ikika. He was very outgoing and willing to help anyone with anything. Lamar had a passion for lots of things, but his love for gaming and friends could only be matched by his love for his family.
    Lamar was set to graduate and had plans to move back home to Vernal, Utah, with his father. He talked about going to college, and his growing passion to start hunting, fishing, and camping. Lamar had a passion for the military and dreamed of joining the United States Marine Corp, where he wanted to fly drones. Everything Lamar did in his life he did to make things easier for others. Lamar will be missed and the love for him will never stop.
    Lamar is survived by his parents, his brothers, Payton and Dash Tapoof, and sisters, Kambria Tapoof and Kira Barnes.
    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerilynn Tapoof, Lor and Rick Silva, and Pablo Ortiz.
    A graveside service will be held on March 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery, Ft. Duchesne, Utah.
