Kevin Olin Nye

Kevin Olin Nye, age 59, of Roosevelt, died February 7, 2020, in an oilfield trucking accident. 
He was born August 3, 1960, in Great Falls, Montana, to Don Olin and Elizabeth Pickens Nye.  He married June McCullough on August 12, 2006, in Provo.
Kevin was a hardworker and had been working for Jim Nebeker Trucking.  He was very vibrant, loved life, was friendly, outgoing, and would help anyone in need.  He was protective of his friends and family, and was a positive role model. He was always happy and worked to make people laugh, especially if he knew you were having a bad day.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, carpentry, and loved playing with his dog, “Scrappy.”
Kevin is survived by his wife, June; children, Cherish Admundson, Jeremiah Jacob (Maria) Nye, Brenda Nye, all of Minnesota; 9 grandchildren; his mother, Elizabeth Ambron, Colorado; siblings, Georgia Nye, Andi (John) Nye-Hardgrove, Dawn Nye-Blade, Jessica (Kevin) Williams, Jackie Nye; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and his dog, “Scrappy.”
He was preceded in death by his father, Don and an infant brother.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, 457 East 300 North, Roosevelt, with a viewing from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Cremation will follow services.
