Kevin Lynn Mortensen

    Kevin Lynn Mortensen, age 61, of Dry Fork, passed away August 20, 2017, at the Sr. Villa Care Center due to health complications.
    Kevin was born September 1, 1955, in Roosevelt to Eldon & Verda Mae Schultz Mortensen.  He married the love of his life, Sandra Hoover February 4, 1980.  Together they owned and operated the Current Creek Lodge before moving to Dry Fork Canyon.  
    Kevin devoted his working career to the oil and gas industry.  He successfully owned and operated Triple E Oil Field Services for many years leading up to his retirement in 2012.
    Kevin enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting, camping, fishing, and riding horses.  
    Kevin is survived by his sons, Allen (Mandy) Mortensen and Brian Mortensen; the light-of-his-life granddaughter. Journey Mortensen; siblings, sisters Christine (Robert) Mathews, Paula (Kenny) Salminen, Marisa Mortensen; brothers, Karl (Rebecca) Mortensen, Chad (Joan) Mortensen; and many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Hoover Mortensen and his parents.
