Kerstine Michelle Arlyne Dodge Jim, age 18, of Neola, passed away December 26, 2019.
Kerstine was born February 13, 2001, in Roosevelt, to Charles Dodge, III, and Michelle Arlyne Jim. She was also raised by Babes Larose and Elaine Lee.
Kerstine was a strong believer in her Native traditional ways and took part in Sweats, Bear Dances, Sundances, and Pow Wows. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling all over, reading many books, and watching movies. She had a great fondness for horses.
She loved her family and especially liked to visit and be with her brothers and sisters.
Kerstine is survived by her brothers and sisters and cousins, Rossco Curry (Dayzha Sowsonicut), Rookus Curry (Cheree Sowsonicut), Raven Curry (China Limon), Reamber Curry; Robert, Dusty, Lane, Relissa, Cameo, Allison & Kaylan Lee; Jackie Rivers; Armondo, Keanue, & Carlito Ruiz; Nakell Jim; Draden, Alazsha, Maricia, Isaac Jr., & Andre Checora; Kayne Jim; Victor Rodriguez; Breeze Phetvixay; Caleb Tabbee; Benito UncaSam; Russana Curry; grandmother, Elaine Lee; auntie, Nicole Jim; step-father, Israel Soto; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Dodge & Michelle Jim; adopted mother, Babes Larose; grandparents, Alonzo Jim, Sr, Gloria Arlyne Tabbee; Arlyne & Wallace Tabbee; Mary Elizabeth Wyasket, Virgil Gordon, Thelma Lee, and Linda Garcia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Whiterocks Community Building where a wake will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29th. Burial will be in the Red Knoll Cemetery in Farm Creek.
